Animated Comedy South Park bringing in more Music.

It will tell the story of two young Mormon missionaries sent to Uganda to spread the church's gospel. The show will be directed by Parker and Avenue Q director Jason Moore. Parker and Stone said in a joint statement the project was "a dream come true". "Growing up in Colorado, a lot of our friends were Mormons and we always thought their book would make a great musical," they added.

Co-writer Lopez said the musical would be, "in many senses a big traditional musical comedy with, as you might expect, untraditional subject matter". "I can't wait to see how Broadway audiences are going to react when they experience it," he added. Well I can't imagine this musical to be do anything other than ridicule the Mormons but hey I can't imagine it to be anything other than hilarious. Let's just hope it comes to theatres in England as well as America.

EDD: You know family guy is the show that is known to be musical. Just watch over some eps again and see how much they use music. Seth Macfarlane once said that he would only use live bands to record the numbers. I don't know if south park can live up to that.

LARRY: What South Park have had a ton of musical in their shows. Are you forgetting the High school Musical rip.

EDD: That don't count!!

Umm South Park The Movie... Team America... Cannibal The Musical... In fact MacFarlane (sp) pretty much jumped out of the jock-douchebag role in a John Hughes film like Olivia Newton-John in Xanadu, to steal that idea from Trey and Matt like he's done pretty much everything else in his career =)

He's good at riding on coat-tails... I'll give him that... But only a hooka-induced hallucination could make anyone give that Camaro-Jock any points for originality...
